It features an advanced pneumatic-seal structure, with a wear-resistant and inflatable sealing ring made from specially formulated rubber. During opening/closing, there is no contact between the valve disc and the valve seat. Features
- The valve rotates into the closingposition, the disc makes only casual contact with the inflatable seat, reducing friction and torque requirements.The seat inflates against the disc providing more sealing surface and an even pressure distribution against the disc after the valve is closed.
- The seat is first deflatedwhen the valve is about to open. The disc is then free to rotate to the open position without rubbing against the seat.
- The inflation pushes the inflatableseat tightly against the disc, creating a tight seal, which achieves zero leakage.This designing makes the inflatable seat butterfly valve distinct from traditional butterfly valves.
- The disc does not rub against the seat during operation, reducing thewear and tear on the disc and the seat, prolonging the valve’s service life.
